Diversity Green Cards

This is also known as the Diversity Immigrant Visa/Green Card lottery. To diversify the U.S. population, a select number of foreigners are selected for this green card each year.

Are you in the United States and need a Diversity green card? Our service provides you with the interview guides you need to go through to obtain a Diversity green card in the States.

The United States reserves 50,000 green cards every year for immigrants from countries with low rate of immigration to the United States. This was established under the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program and overseen by the Department of States (DOS).

The essence of a diversity visa is to create a quick path to green cards to help immigrants and their immediate families. This program is run like a lottery, and under this, the Department of State randomly selects candidates for the lottery. The diversity visa is shared among six regions; no country receives greater than 7 percent from the available visas each year. For this reason, the United States’ Department of States maintains a list of countries deemed eligible for Diversity Visa.

Each year, the registration for a diversity visa lottery always starts from early October and ends in early November. Winners of this lottery are often announced in May of the year that follows. Eligibility seems to be prioritized, and the Department of State keeps a list of countries whose citizens can benefit from this scheme.
